He's a native from El Salvador, exactly from Sonsonate. There's a whole region called Sonsonate and in this region there's a city Sonsonate, so I don't know really if my info says about region or city, though I guess, city. It's in the mountains and near to the Pacific Ocean.
But - if he's a native, maybe he's so native that he have Pipil descent. Pipil people (oh, how cute it sounds!) are related with Toltecs and Olmecs, but their mythology points that they are also related with... Mayas (they were neighbours).
When he was 14 he moved with his family to Tijuana in Mexico. A year later he moved to Los Angeles. He lives there presently.
Well, as all of our Holcanes, he's artisticaly talented. That what he's doing is a break dance.
His group opened or closed a lot of musical performances including Linkin Park, Cypress Hill and Kurtis Blow. Also his group has performed in great places, e.g. at the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles.
The Apocalypto staff found him by serendipity. They discovered him dancing at the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica. What was he doing there? Well, he was working in a juice car. Great guys start in a small stuffs.
