Marco lives in Mexico City and studied at Universidad Autonoma de Mexico de Teatro. Whilst there he performed in a number of theatrical productions and also took courses and workshops at el Centrao Nacional de la Artes and the Colegio `Teatro del Cuerpo`Conto Cultural Helenico. Apocalypto was his first motion picture performance.
